Hello everybody
About the topic of education, is thing very important in the
life of all the persons, since with this we acquire the knowledge that we will
have in our life. It should be noted that it is not important from the school
that you come, I believe that the distinction between private and public
schools should not be made. In addition, that you study in the private school
It does not mean that you will have more knowledge, more education or better
quality of learning.
In my vision, I believe that the private schools have better
utensils and infrastructure that the public school, that is, they are more
prestigious regarding the economic situation, but the QUALITY and educational
system may vary.
However, although you should not make that difference
between private and public, is very important highlight that the education in
Chile does not reach the quality point, because the economic policies end up
being mixed with the educational system. In other words, many emblematic
schools just have the name and the money, but the education quality does not
get to be the best. It's more, sometimes the public schools outperform at the
prestigious schools just for have a better teaching and approach to knowledge
in each school subject.
The money doesn’t buy happiness or the education. All is in
the school and in the teachers.
Hi Rodrigo!
ResponderEliminarI agree with you. Unfortunately, in Chile many people believe that a private school is better than a public school just because it has more money and resources. As you say, money doesn't buy happiness or education. Quality should be measured by the moral values and principles offered by schools, such as respect for each other. There are many private and "prestigious" schools that do not instill the respect in their students.
Greetings! :D
Hello Rodrigo,
ResponderEliminarThat is true. But it is a fact that the students of private school get in "prestige universities" in higher percentage. I believe that one difference between public and private education is the different languages that that are taught or the travels because the private have more money that a public school for example.
Hi
ResponderEliminarI think the same, the quality of education depends on how good or understandable the professors are, and not in how cute or well presented it is. But unfortunately in Chile, if a group of teachers want to educate and a group of students want to learn, it`s not enough.
Hi!
ResponderEliminarI don't know how much I agree with you. Of course I understand that an important part is in the teachers and in the school. But I also know how complicated it is to take classes in a municipal school, without resources. Because children and adolescents are accustomed to other things. And I know cases of excellent teachers who cannot do anything in that type of school because they are not allowed. They cannot do it, either due to lack of resources or the same students accustomed to other things.
I understand that education should be the same, regardless of whether or not you have money. But at the moment it is not like that, and I do not think that the distinction between the two should not be noted, because it clearly exists and is very evident.
Must change? Obviously. I hope we all agree on that.
Hi Rodrigo, I agree with you, in my case I went to a pre-university called Preutech. It was so cheaper than pre-universities like Pedro de Valdivia or Cpech, and let me tell you that level of proffesors and their way to teach was so high, most of students of my class were so happy and excited to go and learn with them. Also, they were very flexible with students who were late in paying their monthly payments, we really appreciate it.
ResponderEliminarNice blog.
Hello Rodrigo!
ResponderEliminarI share your opinion very much. The truth is that in Chile the quality of education is quite precarious in many schools, and even worse is the big gap between private and public schools, where once again the economic differences between people are marked. That is why I believe in the idea that there should be an egalitarian educational system for all children and young people in the country that provides quality education for all.
Greetings, classmate!
What I think is that this issue of money intervenes in education as it intervenes in health, much of the health that is given and that is not private has the vocation as a point of view. But many of the best rated doctors are also private clinics. The best teacher I have ever had was retired but wanted to continue teaching. But as much as my other teachers were very good, they don't work for free. Now on a complicated issue because sometimes not everything is solved with the will to learn and the love for the vocation of a teacher.
